Colleagues:
I teach a course on Psychology and the Arts (upper level
undergraduate). We cover largely music and the graphic arts, and
include a developmental focus. For years I used Winner's Invented
Worlds as a starting point, to which students added primary source
material. It is now fairly outdated but I cannot find a substitute
text. Last year I tried using two texts, one on art psychology and
one on music psychology, but that did not work out as well has having
a unified text.
Do any of you have suggestions about a text one could use in such a
course? Thanks (please reply to me; I will post a summary of
answers if anyone wants me to).
