The 2002 Annual Meeting of the American Educational Research Association
(AERA) will be held April 1-5 in New Orleans.=A0 The deadline for proposals is
Thursday, August 2nd (11:59 p.m. EST).

All proposals (symposia, paper session, paper discussion -- formerly known
as roundtables) must be submitted electronically at http://www.aera.net/meeting 
and will be reviewed electronically. The theme of the 2002 Annual Meeting is 
"Validity and Value in Education Research."

Individuals interested in reviewing proposals also may register at the AERA
website address listed above.
