The International Foundation for Music Research
Goals:
The goals of the International Foundation for Music Research are to
promote and fund research in the broad field of music and behavior
including cognitive science, psychology, education, neuroscience,
medicine, health, therapy, child development adolescence, aging and
allied disciplines.
Programs:
The Foundation supports basic and applied research through three
programs: (1) the conduct of research projects, (2) prizes for
outstanding research and (3) graduate fellowships. Beginning with
the inaugural fiscal year of 1998 - 99, the Foundation will fund
research projects. Research prizes and graduate support programs
will start in 1999-2000.
