Please bring the following post-doctoral fellowship to the attention of
potentially interested colleagues.
A post-doctoral fellowship is available with an inter-disciplinary team of
researchers mapping music cognition, perception, and performance in the
brains of musicians and non-musicians. The project, funded by the Texaco
Foundation, is based in the Research Imaging Center at the University of
Texas Health Science Center and in the Institute for Music Research at the
University of Texas at San Antonio. The Research Imaging Center possesses
facilities for PET, fMRI, ERP, TMS, and neurological studies. The
Institute for Music Research has various multimedia technologies for music
creation, presentation, and experimentation. Background in music
psychology will be most appropriate; additional knowledge of cognitive
neuroscience is useful but not necessary. Competitive salary and
