>SCOPE: The Ford Foundation is inviting applications for Dissertation
>Fellowships for Minorities.

>DEADLINE: November 12.
>
>FUNDS: Approximately 29 fellowships will be awarded; the stipend is
>$21,500 for one year.

>ELIGIBILITY: Applicants must be U.S. citizens or national who are
>members of one of the following ethnic minority groups: Native
>American Indian, Alaskan Native, Black/African American, Mexican
>American, Native Pacific Islander, or Puerto Rican.

>Awards will be made for study in research-based doctoral programs
>(Ph.D. or Sc.D.) in the behavioral and social sciences, humanities,
>engineering, mathematics, physical sciences and life sciences, or for
