>SCOPE: The Center for Advanced Study in the Behavioral Sciences is
>inviting applications for residential fellowships in a wide variety of
>disciplines (not necessarily those traditionally associated with the
>behavioral sciences).

>DEADLINE: None.

>FUNDS: The Center awards up to 50 fellowships each year. In most cases
>the Fellow contributes to the cost of the stipend, which is based on
>the academic salary for the year preceding residence at the Center.

>ELIGIBILITY: Open to distinguished elder scholars, scholars at the
>peak of their productivity, and young scholars who have already
>demonstrated their capacity to do excellent work. Eligibility is a
>three-step process: nomination, rating by a review panel, and
>selection by the board of trustees. After eligibility is granted, the
>prospective Fellow and the Center negotiate a mutually convenient year
