Providing a rich source of topics, Music Education Research: An Anthology from
the Journal of Research in Music Education is a collection of articles
designed for use in the classroom with graduate and upper-level undergraduate
students. Fifty-eight studies have been selected based on their importance to
the profession and their impact on the field of music education. This
anthology can serve as a textbook, a reference book, a set of basic readings,
or a collection of exemplary models of music research. Spanning the Journal of
Research in Music Education's forty-five-year history, the studies are

Harry E. Price, editor of this anthology, is the current editor of the Journal
