New Journal: Musicae Scientiae . . . [EDP] (C)

EUROPEAN SOCIETY FOR THE COGNITIVE SCIENCES OF MUSIC

Dear ESCOM member, dear colleagues,

We are very pleased to announce the launch of our refereed journal: 
Musicae Scientiae.

This is probably the most significant initiative yet taken by ESCOM, and
has already been welcomed by many people who see that there is a great need
for expanded opportunities to publish in our field.  The first volume will
be published in 1997 (Spring) and will be free to members.

We are actively seeking submissions of academic papers from the research
community (in French, English, or German).

Full details of the journal, its policy, its editorial board, and guidance
for authors is enclosed.  Please take the time to read the materials and
consider whether you, members of your group, or other researchers known
to you, could be encouraged to make submissions of high quality.
