FYIFrance is a monthly electronic newsletter, published since 1992.
FYIFrance is available in a gopher format, from infolib.berkeley.edu,
and in various online archives (the easiest is the PACS-L archive,
reached via telnet to a.cni.org, login brsuser).
Jack Kessler writes extensively about French public library music sections,
discussing collection and lending issues and other other music liabrarianship
concerns. The section, "The Weakness of Music Libraries", is of particular
interest. He states that "A more detailed study will be presented for the
consideration of the Conseil and published in our next report."
